A quarter of the workers surveyed set NO money aside from their paycheck to establish or grow their savings. Of those who do save, 34% of workers set aside less than $100 a month for savings, and 18 percent save $50 or less.

Why did you start these clubs?
Here's a quick evolution of how the clubs came to be. I taught 2-day seminars in November and December 2007 where everyone felt so connected and inspired that they wanted to continue as a safe, supportive, and money smart community. So we founded the 1st OYM Club as a pilot program. It was a combination of singles, couples, entrepreneurs, and graduates of the Millionaire Mind Intensive course (hosted by Peak Potentials Training).
The group had monthly calls and the individuals in the group became hugely successful. We tracked the money made or saved and it consistently averaged over $1,000 per person. People benefitted from the continuing motivation and education so that they committed to and followed through on their action steps. Successes included promotions, paying off debt, negotiating down credit card interest rates, doubling revenue, and creating financial peace at home, to name a few.
Why are there 3 different clubs?
We realized from the pilot program that the needs of certain members of the group were more specialized. So now we have our Women's group, plus a special group to meet the needs of Entrepreneurs and a special group for graduates of the Millionaire Mind Intensive (or other Peak Potentials Training programs- if you haven't yet, I HIGHLY recommend their programs and you can click here for more info).
The vast majority of people think they are in the minority worried and not talking about their money. After speaking to thousands of people, I can confidently say it is the vast majority of people who are doing the worrying and may not be adequately prepared with financial education to thrive in these times. What happens if I miss a scheduled club call?
No worries. Every call is recorded and we will post REPLAY information within 24 - 48 hours of the call on your private club website. You will still have an accountability partner (a "buddy") to speak to during the 2-weeks to keep you on track too.
How big are the groups?

No. We do not provide investment advice, but we CAN help you find the money in your life TO invest. At OwnYourMoney.com, we are about financial empowerment, coaching, and education.
